Wednesday Goals Check In

Last week I made a new friend on twitter (Tiffany at dance.lift.run.), and we decided that we would be accountable by having a weekly weigh-in date together. I'm excited by this prospect because I feel like someone is keeping an eye on me.

That said, I really wished I had weighed in on Monday instead. I finally broke through my plateau and dropped a pound. Of course since then, I gained it back.

On my other goals, I've been a bit stagnant this week. I've been recovering from pleurisy and my heart condition seems to be more temperamental than usual, so my activity has been almost non-existent. Taking deep breaths still hurts, so my meditation has been curbed, as I like sinking into slow, deep breathing.

I have, however, been getting tons of sleep, which is I guess what my body needs. I've also made it out to walk my dog just about every day, so I'm assuming that's prevented any gain.

I know that part of the process is taking care of my body when it needs rest and recovery, but gah, I'm itching to get out and DO SOMETHING. I just have to be patient.
