Wednesday Goals Check-In

I gained a pound. There's a perfectly good explanation for it. I was super sedentary all weekend (and into today). I have spent most of the last 5 days sleeping. After last week's crazy and awesome adventures, I just crashed. I would wake up, eat, sleep, wake up, eat, watch some tv, eat, sleep...rinse and repeat for 5 days. That is a sure-fire way to screw up your weight loss plans. Yes I was sick, but it's no excuse.

Last Week: 192
Today: 193
Change: +1

I've been doing my squats every day for the Squat-a-Thon, and getting in sit-ups and yoga on some good days. But I go right back to sleep. Again, defeats the purpose.


I have been getting back into meditation - in the time between naps and tv - so I guess there's a win.

I am NOT going to end the month weighing more than when I started. That is a fact. I am about to make myself some breakfast and start working from home (good way not to fall asleep...or is it??) and get my productivity on. I'm going to finish December STRONG. Who's with me?

  2. Thank you!! I am actually a lot less upset about it than I sound. I am more annoyed at my being in bed for so long...I wish I felt rested, lol.
